AI "Takes Over" the Digital Trade Expo: Wang Xingxing Discusses Millimeter-Level Errors in Robots, Anheng Information Demonstrates "Using AI to Counter AI"

The 5th Global Digital Trade Expo was held in Hangzhou. Wang Xingxing, founder of Unitree Robotics, stated that fine manipulation by robots involves errors of a few millimeters that cannot be automatically corrected, and that whoever solves the millimeter-level error problem of alignment in the physical world will essentially solve the core challenge of robotics. Anheng Information exhibited "Hengnao," China's first AI-native code audit agent, and "Lieying," the world's first AI-native honeypot capable of capturing autonomous attacks by AI Agents, turning "using AI to counter AI" into deliverable products.

China's first youth AI academy to mark its second anniversary: How Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the China Welfare Institute Children's Palace jointly cultivate AI talent

The country's first youth artificial intelligence academy, jointly established by the China Welfare Institute Children's Palace and the School of Artificial Intelligence at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, will mark its second anniversary this October. At its unveiling in October 2024, it admitted its first cohort of 50 students; in September 2026 it will launch its third round of admissions, with more than 400 applicants. The academy selects first-year high school students from across the city, with each cohort studying for two years under a "2+2+X" model, attending classes on Saturdays alternately at the School of Artificial Intelligence at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the China Welfare Institute Children's Palace. The curriculum covers advanced mathematics, machine learning, deep learning, analysis of large language model architectures, and agent development. Next, the academy plans to extend AI popularization and accessibility to lower age groups, including middle and primary school students.

Fudan Team Develops "Danbao" Robot, Pure-Vision On-Device Brain Enables Autonomous Walking

"Danbao," a robot jointly developed by Fudan University's School of Future Information Innovation and the Jimu Tianshu team, was showcased at the 26th China International Industry Fair. Without preloaded maps and without remote control, it autonomously finds its way and avoids pedestrians using vision alone. Its visual spatial intelligence navigation has approximately 120 million parameters and can support real-time on-device operation of up to 8 visual input channels at under 20 watts of power consumption. The team is adapting it for various types of robots, including delivery and pickup, inspection, agriculture, and cleaning.
