Oracle announces "Oracle App Composer," which lets employees automatically create business apps with AI and share them on Oracle Cloud. Oracle AI World 2026, October 29, 2026

Oracle announced "Oracle App Composer," which allows employees to automatically generate business applications with AI, deploy them to Oracle Cloud, and use them, at the annual event "Oracle AI World 2026" being held in Las Vegas, USA.

Business applications developed with Oracle App Composer can be shared and used internally, and the IT department can centrally manage Oracle App Composer, performing operations such as setting owners and retiring unused business applications.

Business applications can be created via chat

To create a business application with Oracle App Composer, you simply describe the content of the application you want to create on the chat screen.

OpenAI's Codex generates the code for the business application according to the instructions.

After passing security checks and other processes, the code is deployed to Oracle Cloud and can be shared internally via URL.

The following is an example of a business application created, taken from the Oracle App Composer demo video shown during the keynote.

Business applications created with Oracle App Composer are centrally managed from an admin screen, where you can see statuses such as who is using them, who was responsible for creating them, and whether there are similar business applications.

Applications that no one has used for a long period can also be retired from the admin screen.

Oracle App Composer is scheduled to launch in spring 2027.
