Noam Brown: Coding Agents Make Poker AI Possible in One Hour
Noam Brown mentioned that MIT's 6.9630 course, offered every winter, lets students spend a month developing poker AI and compete for cash prizes, while coding agents have accelerated this process to the point where a poker bot can be built within an hour. He also said he will attend the finals of the No Limit poker bot tournament hosted by Sequoia, Cit Securities and OpenAI.

Body
Every winter, @MIT has run a 1-month class (6.9630) in which students make poker AIs and compete against each other for cash prizes. Coding agents have accelerated that process so much that it's now possible to build a poker bot in an *hour*.
Also, I'll be at the finals!
