Our mission
We build the foundation for understanding AI’s economic impact. The Anthropic Economic Index tracks how AI tools are being used around the world and across every sector of the economy. Alongside regular Economic Index reports, we produce novel research that studies the economic implications of AI, and fund ambitious external research.
Producing reliable data to guide policy
The speed of AI development means the stakes are unusually high. We need reliable data to inform the decisions that workers, employers, and policymakers make about the future. Our research provides evidence to address uncertainty and help society navigate this transition.
Scenarios for our economic future
Anthropic’s Economics team is sharing a new model of how AI may affect economic growth, jobs, wages, and more by 2030. The model lets you explore the scenarios, tell us what you think will happen, and see how your answers compare to +10,000 Americans.
