Claude renames Max 20x to Ultra and removes the 5-hour limit
Claude announced that Max 5x will be renamed to Max and Max 20x to Ultra, with prices unchanged ($100/month and $200/month respectively); also, starting today, the 5-hour limit is removed for verified Ultra accounts, while new accounts retain a temporary limit until verification, and weekly limits remain unchanged. In his repost, Ado joked about the naming of "Ultrathink / Ultracode / Ultra...plan?" and said that Max20 is now called Ultra, with the price and overall limits unchanged, but verified accounts no longer have the 5-hour limit.
