Anyone who has published an app knows that dreaded message from a user: “Doesn’t work for me”.
At a large company, an on-call engineer gets paged, investigates the problem, and works to get the app running again. For most creators and small teams, that responsibility falls to the same person building the product, supporting customers, and trying to grow the business.
Today, we’re changing that.
Replit Monitoring Agent gives every internal app builder and entrepreneur an autonomous on-call engineer for their app.
When a production issue occurs, the Monitoring Agent can investigate the alert, identify the cause, make and validate a fix, and deploy that fix to production. It then reports back with what happened and what changed.
Earlier this year, we launched App Monitoring, giving you production health checks and alerts when a published app went down. Now, we’re closing the loop. When you run apps on Replit, your agent doesn’t just tell you what broke, it makes the fix as well.
Now, instead of learning about outages from frustrated users, you can wake up and focus on what matters to you, with the peace of mind that your app’s uptime is being handled.
How Monitoring Agent Works
Once your app is in production, keeping it running means understanding what’s happening, responding when something breaks, and safely shipping a fix.
Replit Monitoring Agent is a first-of-its-kind agent that can see, fix, and deploy changes autonomously for AI-app creators.
See what is happening in production
Agent can access your production logs and metrics, giving it the context to investigate errors, slowdowns, and failed deployments without you digging through logs.
Fix issues before users report them
With alerting and autofix enabled, Monitoring Agent is notified when an issue occurs. It investigates the cause, validates a fix, and emails you a summary of what happened.
Deploy fixes automatically
With auto-publish enabled, Monitoring Agent can deploy a validated fix and report back with what changed. You decide whether fixes are published automatically.
Toward Autonomous Software Teams
Replit was the first platform to enable agentic coding in the cloud. As agents become more capable, our focus is expanding from a single coding agent to autonomous software teams that can accomplish anything a modern software engineering team can do, and more.
We believe the future of software is teams of agents working together to build, maintain, secure, and optimize software, while creators set the direction and stay in control.
Over the past six months, we’ve launched industry-leading systems for black box security scanning, growth, and now production monitoring. These are important steps toward autonomous agent teams that can manage any app, tool, or business built on Replit.
All of this is in service of a simple idea: more people should be able to turn their ideas into something real. Building an app is only one part of that journey. Keeping it reliable, secure, discoverable, and improving over time has historically required an entire team. By giving every creator access to agents that can do that work, more people can create, launch, and grow software without needing to become experts in every discipline.
All you need is the idea and the ambition.
Get Started
Publish your app, open its Publishing settings, and enable intelligent autofix alerting.
You can also turn on auto-publish to allow Monitoring Agent to deploy validated fixes automatically.
Your app is live. Now its on-call engineer can be, too.

Sep 10, 2026Databricks Integration is Now Available with Native Lakebase Support
The Replit | Databricks integration gives enterprise teams a faster path to utilizing governed data for production-ready applications. Today, we’re excited to announce the integration is generally available alongside a new capability: native Databricks Lakebase support. This builds on the foundation introduced from our public preview announcement this past June. The result is one seamless path from idea to production: Replit accelerates application creation, while Databricks hosts and provides governed access and security to live enterprise data. Through Lakebase, Databricks also delivers a managed database for storing and updating application data. With native Lakebase support, teams can build full-stack, context-rich apps that combine live Databricks warehouse data with information created and updated through the app. When an app built with Replit is ready to deploy, Replit Agent automatically provisions its Lakebase database, eliminating the need for manual setup. New Capabilities for a Faster, Safer Launch Automated Preview Deploys: Test your apps before they go live. Replit automatically creates a separate preview environment that keeps test data isolated from live business data in Databricks, giving teams a safe place to build, review changes, and make adjustments.
