Gemini Notebook to Launch Connectors, Initially Supporting Only Google Drive
Gemini Notebook is about to gain the Connectors feature, but initially only Google Drive will be available as a connector. Users can search Google Drive files directly in chat and can disable the feature as needed; officials say the connector only searches workspace documents and original files will not be modified. More Connectors are expected to be added later.

GOOGLE 🔥: Gemini Notebook will soon get Connectors! But there is a caveat: Google Drive will be the first, and the only, one available at first.
Additionally, users will be able to ask Gemini to search through Google Drive directly from the chat and turn it off if needed.
> "You can now search Google Drive files from chat."
> Google Drive Connector - "Searches and retrieves documents directly within your workspace. Your original files remain completely untouched."
> "Connect your workspace to chat with your files, sync your notes, and automate tasks across your favorite apps."
More Connectors are expected to arrive later. I hope we get them faster than 1-5 per year.
