OpenAI's Greg Brockman posted that "hard work lives up to the trust placed in it," and thanked the team for sharing the same deep sense of responsibility. Previously, Joshua Achiam speculated that he was doing "heroic" work behind the scenes to fix the internet, and believed his contributions might not be credited to him by the outside world.

And I expect that even though his net contribution to AI safety and resilience will in the final tally be unsurpassable, no one in the space will think to attribute large scale patches to his effort or effort that happens under his leadership.
