Claude API request limit raised to 128 MB
Anthropic has raised the maximum request size for Messages and Token Counting on the Claude API from 32 MB to 128 MB, saying that long-running computer-use sessions and image-heavy requests such as large PDFs previously hit the 32 MB limit while the context window still had room to spare. Thread addendum: for requests with more than 20 images, the per-image limit is raised from 2000 px to 3000 px; the 128 MB limit applies only to the first-party Claude API, and calls made through cloud platforms are capped between 20 and 32 MB.
