On October 24, the "2026 Seagull Journey · Jing'an AI Film and Television College Student OPC Creation Outstanding Works Showcase" was held at the Jing'an International Reception Hall. Relying on Seagull Hui · Jing'an, the city's first district-level workstation of the "Seagull Plan" for female college students, this event promoted deep integration between the creative resources of university students and Jing'an District's ultra-high-definition audiovisual industry. As an important supporting event within the Jing'an section of the 2026 International Audiovisual Art Carnival, the "Seagull Journey · Jing'an AI Film and Television College Student OPC Creation" activity has, since its launch in August this year, carried out a public-interest creative training camp and selected 84 people from nearly 200 Shanghai university students who registered, forming 33 creative teams. During the 20-day creation period, participants closely focused on the three creative directions of the twelve traditional Chinese time periods, Shanghai-style culture, and future industries, transforming Jing'an's urban landscape, historical heritage, and future scenarios into AI micro-films, animations, and other video works, producing a total of 25 films and concept demos and achieving full-process coverage from skills training to practical creation. This showcase is a concentrated review of the college students' creative achievements and also an effective link from competition works to entrepreneurial incubation. An AI film and television project order signing ceremony was held simultaneously at the event. The order provider, Yantu Technology, signed cooperation agreements with Shanghai University's "Shangda Bay" and the creators of the best film, and the two sides will carry out in-depth incubation around AI cultural tourism advertising projects.
