Ethan Mollick: Several OpenAI products had short lifespans

Ethan Mollick pointed out that OpenAI has shut down quite a few of its own products: Sora lasted 6 months, Agent Builder and Group Chat each lasted 8 months, and Atlas lasted 9 months. He believes that in most cases its own products became obsolete within a few months (Sora may be an exception), and cautioned against assuming that OpenAI itself is immune to misjudging exponential change.
