OpenAI cancels ChatGPT Pro quota cuts after user backlash, doubles usage limits across tiers

OpenAI said it will not cut the usage limits for the $100, $200, and $500 ChatGPT Pro tiers and Business Premium, and announced that effective immediately it is doubling the usage limits for all Pro 100/200/500 tiers and Business Premium. A previous plan to cut the Pro 200 tier quota drew user opposition, and OpenAI said that after listening to feedback it will keep Work and Codex usage unchanged. The company also said it will temporarily continue to provide expanded quotas for Dots, and that Dots usage will still be calculated separately from default usage.
