Cloudflare OS Launches Managed Service, Adds GitHub and Gmail Connections
Cloudflare has announced a managed service for its AI business platform Cloudflare OS, with waitlist registration now open. Cloudflare OS was open-sourced in August this year and can be deployed in Cloudflare environments, on-premises, or in the cloud. It supports integration with Cloudflare Workers AI as well as AI services from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and others, and has the ability to securely access enterprise internal data. Two features were added this time: first, connecting to GitHub repositories, allowing AI agents to add features, debug, view PRs, create commits, and push code based on repository code; second, strengthening the Google Workspace integration, so agents can read and search Gmail conversations, draft and send emails, and connect to Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.

Cloudflare to offer managed service for "Cloudflare OS," including GitHub connection and enhanced Gmail integration — October 21, 2026
Cloudflare has announced a managed service for "Cloudflare OS," a platform for AI-powered work. It is currently accepting sign-ups for the waiting list.
Cloudflare OS is software that Cloudflare released as open source in August of this year (2026). It can be deployed not only in the Cloudflare environment but also in various environments such as on-premises and the cloud.
Although Cloudflare OS has "OS" in its name, it is not a general-purpose OS like Linux or Windows; rather, it plays the role of a platform for AI and business applications.
The following is an example of the Cloudflare OS screen.
Like so-called chat-based AI, Cloudflare OS includes a feature for conversing via AI services such as Cloudflare Workers AI, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google, but Cloudflare OS also includes security features that enable safe access to internal data and services, allowing the AI to answer based on internal data and skills.
Enables connection with GitHub, etc.
With the launch of this managed service, two new features have been announced.
The first is connection with GitHub repositories. This allows users to instruct AI agents from Cloudflare OS to add features based on code in GitHub repositories, debug, check pull requests, create commits, push code, and more.
The second is enhanced integration with Google Workspace, enabling AI agents to read and search Gmail threads, draft emails, send emails, and also connect with Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and more.
As mentioned above, registration for the waiting list for the Cloudflare OS managed service has begun.
