Kolon Benit is strengthening its partners' technical capabilities in response to the expanding artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure market.
Kolon Benit said on Oct. 29 that it is holding the "Kolon Benit Partner Academy" for partner engineers from Oct. 27 to 30 at its AI Solution Center in Gasan-dong, Seoul.
The training program was jointly organized with Dell Technologies Korea, with Nutanix participating as a sponsor. It covers enterprise information technology (IT) infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization platforms and infrastructure operations management.
The four-day program features a different topic each day. Morning sessions introduce product and technology updates, while afternoon sessions provide hands-on training using physical equipment and virtual environments. Partner engineers can select the courses they need.
On Oct. 27, the first day of the program, Dell Technologies introduced its new PowerStore Elite storage product and Dell Automation Platform, followed by practical exercises using capacity-sizing tools and other resources.
On Oct. 28, participants learned how to integrate Nutanix Cloud Platform with Dell PowerStore. The program also included hands-on training with Nutanix Move, which enables virtualization platform migration while retaining existing storage assets. The session covered infrastructure configurations that allow servers and storage to scale independently according to demand.
On Oct. 29, the training focuses on Dell's next-generation PowerEdge 18G servers, the iDRAC10 remote management controller and the OpenManage Enterprise (OME) server management solution.
On Oct. 30, the final day, participants will learn about the key features of the third-generation PowerStore and receive hands-on training covering storage initialization, storage area network (SAN) and network-attached storage (NAS) configuration, firmware updates and log collection.
Kolon Benit said it organized the program to address growing enterprise demand for server and storage upgrades driven by AI adoption, as well as virtualization migration using existing IT assets. The company plans to offer training programs regularly in line with new product launches and technology updates.
"As AI adoption accelerates, infrastructure replacement cycles are shortening, while customers face growing challenges in preserving their existing assets," said Choi Sang-moon, vice president at Kolon Benit. "We will continue providing practical, hands-on training that engineers can apply directly in the field, covering servers, storage and virtualization migration."
