Pronto Founder Launches Provision Labs, Entering Physical AI Data Infrastructure

Anjali Sardana, founder and CEO of Indian home services company Pronto, has founded Provision Labs in San Francisco, focused on providing data infrastructure for AI systems that perform physical tasks; she will continue to serve as head of Pronto. Provision Labs' investors include Lachy Groom, General Catalyst, Bain Capital Ventures, and Glade Brook Capital, but the funding amount, valuation, and initial customers have not been disclosed. Provision Labs plans to collect data to train and test AI systems that enable robots and other physical devices to perform tasks in real-world environments; whether there is any data sharing between it and Pronto's Pronto Verified project, which uses wearable cameras to record home service processes and can anonymize the data for robot AI training, has not been publicly confirmed by either party.
