Apple confirms that Apple Intelligence will be tested in China on November 4, along with…
Apple confirmed in a press release on its China website that Apple Intelligence will begin testing in China on November 4 with the next iOS developer beta, and will be released to the public in December with the official iOS 27.3 release. Users in China will get an improved Siri experience, including Type to Siri, and will be able to invoke Alibaba's Qwen for some requests; the integration also extends to writing tools and visual intelligence, but does not include Siri AI itself. The first batch of features also includes Live Translation in Messages, FaceTime, and Phone, Genmoji, Clean Up in Photos, natural language photo search, Priority Notifications, and notification summaries, and is limited to iPhone, supporting iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, iPhone 16 and later models, iPhone Air, and iPhone Duo, with Siri and device language set to English or Simplified Chinese.
