Doubao adds Douyin livestream rooms to chat product recommendations

On October 21, 2026, the Doubao App added Douyin livestream rooms to product recommendations in chats. Users can watch livestreams, claim coupons, and place orders directly within Doubao without jumping to Douyin. Reports on the same day also mentioned that Doubao will proactively push Douyin Mall full-reduction coupons when users have not chatted about shopping, and pop up small cards introducing e-commerce capabilities such as placing orders, checking logistics, and return pickups. The above changes were disclosed by 36Kr·AI and TMTPost·AGI in reports that day, and both media described them as Doubao integrating Douyin e-commerce capabilities within chat scenarios. There are currently no subsequent development facts.
