Over the past few months, Anthropic scientists have engaged in deep research partnerships with six organizations developing new medicines. We've also begun drug discovery efforts of our own. In doing so, we’ve learned much more about how Claude can support the many stages of drug development. In this blog post, we share some early results from these efforts, and describe how this work fits in with our wider ambitions in the life sciences. https://t.co/EVbxkdDTgJ

Anthropic is expanding its partnership with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA), offering government partners a 40% discount on Claude Enterprise, Claude for Government, and the Claude API through a new agreement. The discount covers all product forms and extends to state, local, tribal, and territorial governments. Anthropic says the agreement is expected to save the government $1 billion, with agencies paying only for actual usage and no minimum purchase commitment required; currently about 500 U.S. federal, state, and local government organizations use Claude, and Claude for Government's weekly active users have grown about 8x since February. Anthropic has also launched a dedicated program to help agencies implement Claude, and says Claude for Government became generally available on September 30 with FedRAMP High authorization.

The IPO prospectus disclosed by Anthropic on Monday shows that its 7 co-founders each hold about 1.4% of shares, and based on the previous round's valuation of $965 billion, each person's wealth exceeds $13 billion. If the IPO achieves the $2 trillion valuation target proposed by investors, without accounting for dilution from new shares, each person's net worth will rise to more than $27 billion. In a letter to potential shareholders, the founders said that AI and Anthropic represent one of the largest economic opportunities in history.

Anthropic has officially filed its IPO prospectus and could list as early as next month; the IPO may raise $100 billion. The prospectus discloses that it plans to invest up to $807 billion over the next decade in data centers, chips, and cloud computing, but its third-quarter revenue was $16.8 billion, up 45% quarter-over-quarter, a slower growth rate than the 141% in the second quarter. The New York Times said this listing will, for the first time, give the outside world an in-depth look at the operating conditions of the key companies underpinning the AI boom, and will test the sustainability of massive investments in chips, data centers, and other areas.

According to Scott Armstrong, a research director at the French National Centre for Scientific Research, several groups of partial differential equation experts have largely understood the reasoning behind OpenAI's Navier-Stokes proof, and believe it goes beyond what humans could have originally conceived but does not exceed human comprehension. OpenAI used an unreleased new model to mobilize about 10,000 agents for an 88-hour effort, generating approximately 130 billion tokens, which were then translated into Lean by GPT-6 Astra for line-by-line machine checking. On October 6, a preprint pointed out discrepancies in some statements and derivations between the original manuscript and the Lean version, and the Clay Institute still lists the problem as in progress.

Anthropic is preparing for an IPO, with a valuation estimated at up to $2 trillion, and the prospectus published this Monday disclosed details on security, customer dependence, and corporate governance. In the first nine months of 2026, about 5% to 7% of revenue came from customers found to have violated usage policies; the top five customers contributed about 25% of revenue, and in the first half of 2026, 48% of revenue was obtained through platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. Existing and planned AI infrastructure agreements total about $657 billion, of which about $417 billion is non-cancelable, and spending could rise to $806 billion after including hardware capacity still under negotiation. After listing, the seven founders will collectively control 50.1% of ordinary shareholder voting rights. The specific listing date has not yet been determined; according to The Wall Street Journal, the target is the week of November 16.

Bank of America, Blackstone, Citigroup and Morgan Stanley announced a $63 billion deal to purchase Broadcom's XPU-based AI accelerators and networking equipment through a newly established SPV and lease them to Anthropic, with equipment deliveries beginning in 2027. Broadcom will provide a residual value guarantee on the collateralized equipment up to the amount of the first-lien loan; if a decline in resale value leaves the SPV unable to repay the first-lien debt, Broadcom will cover the shortfall. Broadcom CEO Hock Tan said the deal reflects the standing of advanced technology and confidence in the AI ecosystem.

Oracle and Google announced at Oracle AI World that Google TPU will be offered through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Oracle says OCI is the first hyperscale cloud platform outside Google to offer Google TPU, with availability planned within the 2027 calendar year. OCI will handle power, cooling, and data center networking, supporting large model training, post-training (including dense and MoE models), as well as production inference for inference, agent, and long-context scenarios. The two sides also introduced the eighth-generation TPU, with the TPU 8t training version and TPU 8i inference version, among which the TPU 8t delivers nearly 3 times the compute of a single pod compared with the previous generation.

Infisical has raised a $40 million Series B at a $600 million valuation, led by Elad Gil with participation from Gradient and Y Combinator. The funds will be used to accelerate product development, expand the engineering and marketing teams, and build security infrastructure for AI agents. Its Agent Vault is currently labeled as a preview version; it uses a forward proxy to attach real credentials when a request is sent, so that secrets do not enter the agent's environment, file system, or model context.

On October 27, 2026, Anthropic released a life sciences progress update, disclosing early results from collaborations with six institutions—BigHat Biosciences, Bristol Myers Squibb, Divergence Labs, Enveda, Generate Biomedicines, and The Column Group—as well as its first in-house drug program. Six scientists at Generate used Claude Code to build an agent system and selected candidates from 186 CAR T cell therapy signaling domain redesigns; one design was about 70% shorter than the standard version, and in laboratory tests the number of cell surface receptors was about 10 times the original. Divergence Labs said Claude generated about 35,000 antibody designs under about 2,750 hours of H100 compute, and 20 of the 91 tested disruptor designs measurably stripped already-bound IgE. Enveda used Claude to review 1,061 pages of production batch records, reducing review time from 25.9 hours to 2.8 hours, and said drafting Module 2 of an investigational new drug application was shortened from about three months to four hours. Anthropic emphasized that these results are still early, mostly preclinical, and safety and efficacy have not yet been validated in patients.
