IT Home, October 31 news: On October 30, the 2026 Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Summit was held in Shenzhen.
At the Tencent Maps industry application session, Tencent officially unveiled its full Agent capability landscape, fully opening its map Agent capabilities to industry customers, smart hardware, and developers.
IT Home has learned that currently, Yuanbao, WeChat Xiaowei, OPPO Breeno Assistant, Rokid AI glasses, Guangfan AI full-sensory wearable devices and others have already integrated Tencent Maps' Agent capabilities.
In Yuanbao, a single sentence can invoke the map to complete route planning, and a one-sentence ride-hailing service is also about to launch.
On the automotive side, the car-map Agent built by Tencent works through the collaboration of five Agents: travel planning, map rendering, ecosystem content, intelligent navigation, and parking guides. It can help users arrange a multi-day cross-city family itinerary with a single sentence, recommend nearby restaurants according to user tastes, and combine vehicle-side perception and lane-level data to make real-time judgments on complex traffic flows.
On the smart wearable device side, Tencent Maps and Rokid launched the industry's first native ride-hailing service for AI glasses. Users do not need to take out their phones; through conversation they can complete the entire process from calling a car and selecting a car to payment. The same ride-hailing capability has also been implemented on Guangfan AI earphones.
In terms of multi-device collaboration, Tencent Maps has joined hands with HarmonyOS to jointly advance the cross-device flow of map capabilities within the OpenHarmony ecosystem; it has also launched a projection navigation solution for HarmonyOS smart two-wheeled electric vehicles with Niu Technologies, and as the first in the industry achieved full openness, allowing two-wheeled riders to enjoy continuous navigation from phone to vehicle screen.
In September this year, Tencent Maps also co-created a "1+N" agent collaboration model with OPPO ColorOS, jointly releasing the industry's first system-level, memory-capable all-scenario travel agent. After launch, users' trip planning went from 9 steps to a single sentence, click-through rates in related scenarios doubled, and next-day user retention increased by nearly 1.5 times.
Officials stated that such Agent capabilities, with the help of Agents such as WorkBuddy, are also open to all developers. Through Agent-friendly interfaces such as MCP Server, Agent Skills, and connectors, developers can give their applications the ability to understand the real world, plan routes, recommend locations, and invoke travel services without adapting from scratch, enabling every user to define their own map.
In addition, Tencent Maps also released the desktop AI map workbench LBSwork, based on the same-origin Harness framework as WorkBuddy, providing one-stop "AI + map" capabilities for industry customers in retail, travel, culture and tourism, and other sectors.
