RoboScience completes several hundred million yuan Series A2 financing to accelerate iteration and commercialization of embodied large model Visics

Beijing News Shell Finance Report (Reporter Chen Weicheng) On November 2, RoboScience Machine Science announced the completion of a Series A2 financing round of several hundred million yuan. This round was jointly led by Amber Capital, Hongruida Investment, and Shanghai Semiconductor Industry Investment, with Suang Capital, 360 Strategic Investment, Guolian Tongbao, Jinding Capital, and several listed company platforms participating as followers. The financing will be used to continue deepening its efforts in the embodied intelligence track, with key support for the continuous iterative upgrading of large models, advancing POC validation and large-scale implementation in core scenarios such as logistics, retail, and industry, and further strengthening its reserve of high-end talent.

Over the past year, RoboScience has completed systematic technological positioning around the main line of "general embodied intelligence": from the release of its self-developed physics simulation engine RoboMirage in September 2025, to the launch of the general embodied large model Visics in June 2026, and then to the debut of the wheeled humanoid robot REX G1 in August. At present, RoboScience Machine Science has been advancing application implementation in scenarios such as retail supermarkets and logistics, continuously enriching the EaaS scenario ecosystem. After this financing round, the company will strengthen resource synergy with industrial shareholders and accelerate validation and application promotion in core scenarios.

RoboScience Machine Science was founded in December 2024 and is a general embodied intelligence company, co-founded by Tian Ye, former head of technology at Apple's AI platform and a master's graduate of Stanford University's AI Lab, and Shao Lin, assistant professor at the National University of Singapore and PhD from Stanford University's AI Lab. Regarding this financing round, Tian Ye said: "We hope that every scenario implementation can not only solve customers' actual problems, but also accumulate experience for improving general capabilities. After this financing round, we will continue to iterate Visics, improve the body products and EaaS services, enhance efficiency, accuracy, and generalization capabilities in real operations, reduce the cost of using embodied intelligence, and drive embodied intelligence into thousands of industries."
