Zhongji Innolight Responds to Rumors of Overseas Customers Cutting Orders

On the evening of November 3, optical module leader Zhongji Innolight released a record of investor relations activities, responding to market rumors such as overseas customers reducing orders. The company said that the vast majority of overseas customers have not revised down demand or orders, a small number of customers have made structural product adjustments, and some customers' demand for 1.6T optical modules has even increased. For 2027, the vast majority of orders already cover the full year, and at least one key customer has given clear and strong demand guidance for 2028. At present, the pace of data center customers taking delivery is normal, optical module supply overall remains tight, and there has been no abnormal inventory buildup. The company expects that in 2027, price declines for 800G and 1.6T products will be limited, with some products not seeing price cuts; in terms of new optical interconnect technologies, NPO is expected to begin ramping in the second half of 2027, with demand further released in 2028, and XPO is expected to generate demand in 2027.
