Tencent TenPay Global and Mastercard Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Advance Inbound QR Code Payments, Remittances and Agentic Payments

Tencent's cross-border payment platform TenPay Global and Mastercard have signed a memorandum of understanding that will combine Mastercard's global network with the WeChat Pay ecosystem to enable inbound tourists to make QR code payments within China using their existing digital wallets or banking apps, extending to cross-border remittances and agentic payments. From January to August 2026, the number and value of transactions made in China by overseas e-wallets via WeChat Pay grew by 81.8% and 80.6% year-on-year, respectively. On agentic payments, the two parties will explore trust, security and interoperability around Mastercard Agent Pay, Agent Connect and Virtual C-Suite.

IT之家 11 月 3 日消息，在 11 月 2 日 2026 年香港金融科技周期间，腾讯旗下跨境支付平台 TenPay Global 与万事达卡签署合作备忘录。
腾讯表示，双方将结合万事达卡的全球网络与微信支付生态，推动入境游客使用其已有的数字钱包或银行 App，在中国境内支持扫码支付的商户处完成付款，并将合作范围延伸至跨境汇款和智能体支付领域。
万事达卡数据显示，截至 2026 年 6 月的一年内，中国内地入境消费同比增长 51.3%。2026 年 1 至 8 月，境外电子钱包通过微信支付在中国境内的交易笔数和交易金额分别同比增长 81.8% 和 80.6%。TenPay Global 目前与全球 60 多家银行和汇款机构合作，支持来自 150 多个国家和地区的资金汇入中国，并已连接 13 个国家和地区的 40 多个境外钱包。
在支付互联互通层面，双方拟整合支付处理、货币兑换、风险管理及欺诈防范能力，并联合数字钱包服务商、金融机构和支付服务机构，扩大跨境扫码支付的覆盖范围。
据介绍，这一合作将与万事达卡自 2023 年启动的“畅行中国，万事达”项目，以及 2026 年 9 月推出的 Wallet Pay 数字钱包互联互通方案形成协同。Wallet Pay（IT之家注：万事达卡的数字钱包支付解决方案，支持 NFC、二维码和线上支付，覆盖 200 余个国家和地区、150 余种货币）已接入 TenPay Global 等金融科技企业。
跨境汇款方面，TenPay Global 将依托万事达卡旗下资金流转业务 Mastercard Move 深化现有合作，使更多境外汇款人能够将资金汇入微信生态。Mastercard Move 覆盖 200 多个国家和地区，支持 150 余种货币结算。
合作还拓展至智能体商业。双方将围绕万事达卡 Agent Pay、Agent Connect 和 Virtual C-Suite 等产品，在智能体支付的信任、安全与互操作性方面进行探索。Agent Pay 通过“可验证意图”机制，使 AI 智能体只能在获得明确授权后完成购买；Agent Connect 为商户提供接入多个 AI 智能体和支付服务商的统一连接点；Virtual C-Suite 则面向中小企业提供 AI 驱动的财务与运营决策支持。
