NVIDIA and Agile Robots Launch Humanoid Robot Reference Platform Agile ONE SN, Expected to Hit the Market in Early 2027

NVIDIA and Agile Robots jointly launched the humanoid robot reference platform Agile ONE SN during the GTC conference in Berlin, targeting research institutions and developers, with an expected market launch in early 2027. The platform is based on NVIDIA's Isaac GR00T development platform and is equipped with the Jetson Thor onboard computing system, integrating data collection, simulation, training, validation, and deployment into a unified workflow; NVIDIA says it can shorten development environment setup time from weeks to days. In terms of hardware, the platform is about 1.4 meters tall, with 31 degrees of freedom in the body, equipped with two five-fingered tactile dexterous hands each with 20 degrees of freedom, a maximum single-arm payload of 3 kilograms, and integrated sensors including head and wrist cameras and LiDAR; the software comes preinstalled with the GR00T 1.7 open vision-language-action model and a whole-body control system, and skills and data developed on Agile ONE SN can later be transferred to the full-size humanoid robot Agile ONE for industrial applications. During the same period, NVIDIA also launched the Isaac OS runtime framework, officially released Isaac Lab 3.0, and provided more than 2,000 robot and factory assets that can be used directly for simulation.
