NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang again attacked the "AI will destroy humanity" rhetoric at a company meeting in Berlin, calling it nonsense and, more often than not, "fabrication" and "cheap" hype aimed at generating headlines. Responding to predictions by some scientific experts that "AI will destroy humanity within 10 years," he said those predictions are all wrong, and that the so-called 10% probability has neither scientific basis nor research support. In an interview with The New York Times in September this year, he already expressed the same view, believing that the current panic over AI is excessive, and that AI will not necessarily replace jobs, but will first replace tasks.
