Apple announced that the first batch of China-market Apple Intelligence will launch in Beta form on November 4, running on the iOS 27.3 beta, with the official launch set for December this year. The first batch of features includes cross-app and AirPods real-time translation, system-level writing tools, transcription and summarization of notes and call audio, visual intelligence and photo erase, email and notification summaries, and a Siri upgrade that supports text input and continuous conversation. Apple is using system-level entry points combined with Qwen's localized data and Chinese large-model capabilities to fill the AI gaps of China-market iPhones. Alibaba CEO Wu Yongming said that Qwen is fully integrated into the Apple Intelligence system rather than cooperating in the form of a single app.
