OpenAI models to land on Google Cloud, covering all three major cloud providers

OpenAI will let developers use its models through Google Cloud. Within the coming weeks, GPT products will enter Google Cloud's Model Garden and the Antigravity coding tool, meaning its models will cover the three major cloud infrastructure providers: Google, Microsoft and Amazon. Previously, Microsoft no longer held an exclusive license to OpenAI's intellectual property, and Amazon subsequently announced plans to host OpenAI models. Google Cloud's annualized revenue growth rate rose from 63% in the first quarter to about 82% in the second quarter.

凤凰网科技讯 10月21日，据CNBC报道，OpenAI将让开发者通过谷歌云使用其人工智能模型。此举意味着OpenAI的模型将登陆所有三大主流云基础设施提供商（谷歌、微软和亚马逊）。对OpenAI而言，这是其扩大技术向企业开发者分发、从消费者业务向更广市场拓展的关键一步。
不到六个月前，OpenAI表示微软将不再拥有其知识产权的独家许可。该独家协议结束次日，云计算领导者亚马逊即公布了托管OpenAI模型的计划。如今谷歌也加入其中，将在未来几周内把OpenAI的GPT产品引入其云平台的模型花园（Model Garden）和Antigravity编码工具。
谷歌今年在云计算领域增长强劲。第二季度该业务年化收入增速从第一季度的63%提升至约82%，部分得益于AI模型和定制芯片的旺盛需求。同一时期，亚马逊和微软的云业务增速分别为37%和42%。三家公司的季度业绩均将于下周公布。
据企业信用卡发行商Ramp的数据，企业AI支出大部分流向OpenAI和Anthropic，不过已有一些企业IT部门将谷歌的Gemini模型集成到自身系统中。9月，谷歌宣布推出下一代Gemini 4 Argon模型。
OpenAI成立于2015年，部分初衷是制衡谷歌等公司对AI研究的集中。两年后，谷歌员工提交了推动AI发展的Transformer学术论文，但正是OpenAI借助ChatGPT将该技术推向应用。目前OpenAI正以1.4万亿美元估值寻求融资，并将目标对准首次公开募股（IPO）。
谷歌与OpenAI去年已有合作，当时OpenAI表示正使用谷歌云运行ChatGPT及其应用程序编程接口（API）。
