SoftBank Group's Masayoshi Son plans to invest $50 billion in Malaysia to build out artificial intelligence, new technologies and data centers. Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said Son has selected Sarawak, Kuching and the Malay Peninsula as expansion sites, and called it one of the largest investment projects in the region.
