Mercedes-Benz's new long-wheelbase E-Class launches: first to feature an AI cockpit developed by a Chinese team

The 2026 long-wheelbase E-Class has launched, becoming the first to feature an AI smart cockpit developed by a Chinese team. The virtual assistant wakes up in as little as 0.25 seconds, and multi-zone interaction recognition and positioning accuracy reaches 98%. The new cockpit supports voiceprint recognition (up to 6 user voiceprints stored per account), a scenario assistant with 11 types of trigger conditions and 15 types of execution actions, and newly adds Huawei HiCar connectivity; the in-car Amap navigation frame rate has been increased to 60 fps. The new car comes in three models: the E 300 L Huiyin Edition at 423,800 yuan, the Liujin Edition at 466,800 yuan, and the Xingbo Edition at 509,800 yuan. The cockpit supports quarterly major-version OTA upgrades.

据奔驰介绍，升级后的虚拟助手支持通过语音操作屏幕上的按钮和文字，也可以打开、关闭第三方多媒体应用，检索和选取音视频内容。奔驰称，虚拟助手的唤醒速度最快为0.25秒，多音区交互识别定位准确率达98%。
声纹识别功能可用于区分不同家庭成员。每个账户最多可存储6位用户的声纹，虚拟助手能够为不同用户建立记忆看板，记录各自的喜好，并结合天气、时间等信息提供推荐。
新座舱还加入了场景助手。用户可以从11类触发条件和15类执行动作中选择搭配，自定义车辆使用场景。车机界面支持通过3D车模查看车门、车窗等状态，并操作车窗和遮阳帘。导航栏和快捷栏卡片可自由调整，多媒体、通话等应用也可以通过小窗显示。
手机互联方面，新车新增华为HiCar功能。支持HiCar的手机首次配对后，再次上车可自动重连，用户也可以通过小艺语音助手操作HiCar应用。奔驰表示，车载高德导航的画面帧率提升至每秒60帧。
奔驰称，全新AI智能座舱支持季度性大版本OTA升级，未来将陆续搭载于更多燃油及纯电车型。
2026年款长轴距E级车共推出三款车型。其中，E 300 L晖银版售价42.38万元，鎏金版售价46.68万元，星铂版售价50.98万元。
