Nvidia Invests in AI Video Generation Company Higgsfield During Jensen Huang's Visit to Kazakhstan

Higgsfield, an AI video startup founded by a former Snap executive, said it has secured investment from Nvidia and TCV to support global infrastructure buildout and talent recruitment, capitalizing on growing market demand.

The San Francisco-based company, which has most of its engineering talent in Kazakhstan, announced the funding as Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang visited the country. Higgsfield positions itself as offering professional services to brands and creators looking to generate media and content at scale. The company said its registered users have grown to more than 40 million. The new money is an extension of the company's August Series B round, which was led by DST Global and raised $400 million at a $5.4 billion valuation. Higgsfield did not disclose its latest valuation or the size of the extension round.

Generating video with AI tools has long required heavy capital investment, but startups in the field have shown strong user engagement and attracted investor attention. Kuaishou Technology's Chinese Kling AI raised $2.8 billion this summer at a valuation of about $15 billion.
