Descript February 2024 Update: New AI Voices, Upgraded Quick Recorder, and the Launch of Descript Labs

The Descript February 2024 update adds the AI Stock Speakers voice library (now with 21 voices), upgrades Quick Recorder, and launches Descript Labs, where you can opt in to beta features. Quick Recorder lets you share directly after recording or open the recording in an editing project, and uploads to the cloud during recording; the first experimental feature in Descript Labs is a redesigned timeline. In addition, the AI Summarize tool has been enhanced and can handle content of any length.
