Anthropic partners with Hg to establish an AI consulting company in Europe

Anthropic has agreed to jointly support the establishment of a new European consulting company with private equity firm Hg, deploying AI consultants and engineers to European enterprises, expected to officially launch before the end of this year, with business centers in London and Berlin. This will be Anthropic's first time supporting the establishment of an independently operated European consulting company, with funding from its balance sheet, while Hg invests through its funds. Previously, Anthropic had launched a similar company, Ode, in the US with Blackstone and Hellman & Friedman, planning to invest 1.5 billion US dollars; OpenAI also established the joint venture OpenAI Deployment Company in May this year.

AI巨头加速抢食传统IT咨询市场
今年早些时候，Anthropic与黑石和Hellman & Friedman在美国推出了一家类似的独立服务公司“Ode”，并计划向其投资15亿美元。
本周早些时候，黑石总裁Jon Gray提到Ode的业务需求时表示，“我们根本跟不上客户需求，需求增长近乎呈抛物线式。”
Anthropic的竞争对手OpenAI也在今年5月成立了自己的合资企业OpenAI Deployment Company，合作方包括TPG、Advent、Bain Capital和Brookfield。
媒体分析认为，AI公司成立咨询公司，正在给传统IT咨询业务带来威胁。传统IT咨询公司包括埃森哲以及“四大”专业服务集团——德勤、安永、毕马威和普华永道。
