Red and Black List of Four Personal Agents: Grok Bot, Muse, Claude Duet, and ChatGPT Dots Tested by Division of Labor
Peter Yang updated his tested red and black list of four personal agents: Grok Bot excels at real-time X data research but its email feature is unusable; Muse is free and stands out in offline business phone capabilities but is slightly weaker in raw intelligence; Claude Duet has the strongest proactivity and base-model intelligence but its research preview lacks browser takeover; ChatGPT Dots can inherit historical assets but still has bugs and slow voice connections. He connects no more than 4 agents to his personal email at the same time.
View original postHere's my updated review of each personal agent: 1. Grok Bot Pros: A team of bots is the easiest to understand. Free X access is amazing for research. Voice mode and the new Pages feature are great. Cons: Email feature doesn't really work. 2. Muse Pros: Free, best consumer UX, most meme-worthy avatar, and business calling is amazing. Cons: Muse Wonder is good but Opus/Astra is better. 3. Claude Duet Pros: Most proactive out of the box. Feels polished and simple to use. Arguably the best model behind it. Cons: Missing some features in research preview, like being able to drive its browser. 4. ChatGPT Dots Pros: Works inside ChatGPT, so it can drive all your cloud and local threads. Cons: Much better than at launch but still buggy. Voice mode is slow to connect. I've also tried Instinct and some of the other agents, but I don't want more than 4 at a time connected to my email. 📌 Don't miss my full Claude Duet review here for everything that it can do: https://t.co/EK28ETwWjD

Stop agonizing over which AI is the one true god. When it comes to picking a 24/7 personal agent, the pros never choose just one of four—they assign each of their four assistants to shifts, haha. You can check out the latest red-and-black list of four personal agents that @petergyang personally tested:
・Grok Bot (Intelligence Officer): Extremely strong at deep research using real-time X data, but currently weak on email. ・Muse (Errand Runner & Mouthpiece): Unmatched at directly calling offline businesses to get things done, but its raw intelligence is slightly inferior. ・Claude Duet (Top Student): Ceiling-level proactiveness and base-model IQ, but its limbs haven't fully grown in yet (lacks browser takeover). ・ChatGPT Dots (Veteran Worker): Seamlessly inherits all your historical assets, but has occasional bugs and somewhat slow voice.
In other words, the deciding factor for agents has shifted from who's smarter to who's more industrious.
But you must hold fast to one life-saving iron rule: Never let more than 4 Agents connect to your personal email at the same time.
Amateurs are still fighting over who's number one, while pros have already arranged workstations by each one's strengths—and casually locked down the email keyhole.
