Anthropic's latest research compared survey results from U.S. adults and 1,334 company employees. Most Anthropic employees expect that by 2030 at least 80% of their own work could be handed over to AI, while only about 5% of American workers share that view. Based on median estimates, Anthropic employees expect that by the end of 2030, 95% of the work required to develop new AI models could be done by AI, and they expect U.S. unemployment to exceed 12% and GDP growth to reach 17.1% by then, while U.S. adults' corresponding GDP growth expectation is 5.4%.

研究反映出 Anthropic 员工与普通美国人对 AI 未来发展的判断存在巨大差异。对于 AI 能力的进步速度、节省工作时间的效果，以及未来经济增长的速度，Anthropic 员工的预期都乐观得多。

Anthropic 研究人员还利用问卷回答推算了受访者对经济增长的预期。以中位数计算，美国成年人对应的 2030 年 GDP 增速为 5.4%，Anthropic 员工则高达 17.1%。作为对比，美国去年 GDP 增长了 2.2%。
