SR008 applications are officially open! Our next residency runs February through April 2027 in San Francisco, and applications close Nov 1, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT.
This year we opened our own office in San Francisco, and it’s a big part of why speedrun is now a residency. We want to be your first believers, just like we were for the founders behind FLORA, Runware, k-ID, and Sekai. Apply now.
The Deal
We invest up to $1M: $500K for 10% upfront via a SAFE, plus up to an additional $500K into your next round within 18 months. We aim to close in two weeks, so you can get back to building.
You’ll also get $10M+ in cloud, AI, and software credits from 200+ partners.
And we don’t take board seats. At this stage, we think founders should be the ones in control of their boards.
Who you build next to matters. For twelve weeks, you’ll work in person out of our office, alongside the speedrun team and a hand-picked group of founders at your stage. Along the way, you’ll hear from generational founders like Marc Andreessen, Ben Horowitz, Fei-Fei Li, and Sam Altman.
When you’re ready to raise, Demo Day puts you in front of thousands of investors.
Looking for customers? Brand Lab, Launch Lab, AI Faire, and Tech Week are built to help you launch, sell, and get seen.
Hiring? Our talent network has 171K+ engineers, designers, and product people, and 250+ hires.
Apply
Applications are open October 12 – November 1, 2026. The SR008 residency runs February 1 – April 18, 2027, kicking off with our founder retreat February 2–4, and Demo Day is April 13. We can’t wait to read your application!
