Samsung Electronics is showcasing an integrated artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem encompassing home appliances, mobile devices, and displays at Korea Electronics Show (KES) 2026. The company is focusing on how AI operates in everyday life, from refrigerators that recognize food ingredients to washer-dryer units that adjust settings based on laundry conditions.
Samsung Electronics announced Oct. 13 that it has set up an 869-square-meter exhibition booth at KES 2026, which runs from Oct. 13 to 16 at COEX in Seoul. The display includes the Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator, Bespoke AI Combo washer-dryer, Micro RGB TVs, and the Galaxy Z Fold8 series.
The Bespoke AI Family Hub refrigerator features an AI food management system that uses an internal camera to recognize ingredients and monitor storage conditions. The Bespoke AI Combo detects laundry conditions and automatically adjusts washing intensity and drying temperature. Samsung's TVs feature Vision AI Companion, which interacts with users and answers questions about content and other topics.
The mobile section features the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8. Other products on display include the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9, Galaxy Tab S12, Galaxy Buds On, and Galaxy SmartTag3. At 201 grams, the Galaxy Z Fold8 is the lightest model in the Fold series to date.
At the exhibition entrance, Samsung has installed a media art display linking 28 Galaxy Z Fold8 devices with Project Luna, a lighting installation. The company has also created an area tracing the evolution of its foldable phones, from the first Galaxy Fold launched in 2019 to its latest models.
"We designed the exhibition to let visitors experience how AI technology is used in everyday life, from mobile devices to home appliances," said Sung-taek Lim, executive vice president and head of Korea Sales & Marketing at Samsung Electronics.
