Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has partnered with ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management and security division of Zoho Corporation, to deploy ManageEngine's solutions on SovereignSecure Cloud—TCS's indigenous, AI-enabled cloud offering.
The partnership targets government, public sector, and private enterprise customers seeking to manage cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) workloads while retaining control over their data. The companies have not disclosed which ManageEngine products will be deployed, when the deployment will begin, or the financial terms of the agreement.
The partnership comes as Indian organisations look for cloud infrastructure that keeps data within national jurisdictions. In February, HCLSoftware and Sify Digital Services partnered to launch a sovereign AI stack for Indian enterprises to develop locally governed infrastructure and software for enterprise workloads.
“Sovereign cloud technology will play an important role in India’s AI-led transformation, enabling organisations to innovate while retaining control over their data and critical workloads,” Satishchandra Doreswamy, Vice President and Global Head of TCS SovereignSecure Cloud, said in a statement.
ManageEngine develops its own technology stack and provides tools for managing enterprise IT infrastructure and security. Its CEO, Rajesh Ganesan, said the partnership would support adoption of sovereign cloud services across government and private enterprises.
“With more than two decades of experience in managing complex cloud infrastructures, we will help TCS and its customers operate their sovereign cloud workloads with confidence and reliability,” Ganesan said.
The agreement follows growth in TCS's AI business. Its annualised AI revenue run rate crossed $3.1 billion in the second quarter of FY27, accounting for more than 10% of total revenue.
