Mistral Large 4 by @MistralAI is a 1T-parameter model (49B active), with open weights coming at the end of the month.
We put it through a series of real-world tests and compared it with leading proprietary and open models, including GPT-6.1 Sol, Astra, Claude Fable, Claude Opus 5.5, Claude Sonnet 5.5, Kimi K3, GLM 5.3 Flash, DeepSeek Flash and Muse Spark, to help demonstrate where it stands today.
