DeepSeekは2026年10月17日、9月に発表した軽量なマルチモーダルMoEモデル「DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash」のアップデート版となる「DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017」を発表した。
DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017は現在、DeepSeekのWebサイト、アプリ、APIからの利用が可能となっている。また、DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017のオープンウェイトモデルはMITライセンスのもと、Hugging FaceとModelScopeで公開されている。

DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017はDeepSeek-V4.1-Flashの推論、コーディング、エージェントタスク、ビジュアル認識性能を大幅に改善。またタスク実行時間と出力長も短縮され、より高速に低コストでタスクを完了できるという。同社の行ったベンチマークによると、コーディングエージェントの性能を評価するDeepSWE v1.1やワークフロー自動化タスクのパフォーマンスを計測するAutomationBench v1.0.6、長時間のエージェントタスクを評価するApex Bench v1.1などにおいて、GPT-5.6 SolやClaude Opus 5、Kimi K3などを上回る性能をマークしたとのこと。
またあわせて、DeepSeekのSearch APIとFetch APIを同社のユーザーすべてが利用できるようになったことを発表した。Search APIは、同社の検索エンジンがクエリに一致するWebページを検索し、結果を構造化されたJSON形式で返す。Fetch APIはクエリに対応した単一のWebページを取得し、そのコンテンツをMarkdown形式で返す。これによりエージェントやRAGアプリケーションは容易に最新のWebコンテンツにアクセスできるようになる。詳しくはドキュメントを参照。
