AI is changing the pace of software development. Tasks that once required hours of coding, testing, and debugging can now be completed much faster with AI assistants and agents. Yet the speed at which an application is created says little about how well it will perform once deployed.
An enterprise application may need to serve thousands of users, exchange data across multiple systems, protect sensitive information, and remain available when something goes wrong. These demands require engineering decisions that extend well beyond generating functional code.
The growing use of autonomous AI agents adds another dimension. Unlike tools that simply suggest code, agents can be given access to enterprise environments and permission to perform actions. This raises important questions about how much authority they should have, how their activities can be monitored, and who remains accountable for their actions.
Against this backdrop, Aurigo Software Technologies will host "Building Secure, Resilient, and Scalable Enterprise Applications in the Age of AI," a webinar featuring Manish Sharma, Chief Information & Security Officer at Aurigo Software, on November 18, 2026, from 6–7 PM IST.
Drawing on real-world incidents, engineering research, and practical experience, Sharma will examine the decisions involved in designing, securing, and operating enterprise applications. The conversation will address software architecture, code quality, data privacy, application reliability, observability, and recovery from failures, including the implications of giving AI agents access to enterprise systems.
The discussion will also consider how the profession itself is changing. As AI takes on more routine development and operational work, engineers will need to spend more time evaluating outputs, understanding system behavior, and making decisions that require technical judgment. The ability to write code remains important, but so does the ability to assess how that code fits into a larger, interconnected environment.
The webinar is intended for software engineers, architects, security professionals, and technology leaders involved in building and operating enterprise applications.
