无代码应用帮 HPE 减少高管状态会议:monday.com 平台实践
No-code apps help HPE cut executive status meetings - SiliconANGLE

Enterprises are learning that no-code apps deliver the most value when the people closest to the work build them. As AI agents arrive inside work management platforms, the harder task is getting employees comfortable enough to use them without letting adoption spin out of control.
That shift is playing out at Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co., which runs workflows across the company on monday.com Ltd.’s AI work platform. One early tester turned a single IT ticketing build, assembled in 24 hours, into a companywide practice of teaching colleagues to build their own workflows, according to Kate Kenner (pictured), capability and community lead for strategic sourcing and planning at HPE.
“My thing is, I love building things, I do, but I want to enable them to build it,” Kenner said. “So a lot of times, I’ll sit with them and be like, well, I think you have the skills to build this because it’s such an easy product. It really doesn’t take a lot of uplift to learn it.”
Kenner spoke with Rebecca Knight at monday.com’s Elevate event, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed how HPE scales no-code apps, how it governs AI use and how agents are taking on routine reporting. (* Disclosure below.)
Scaling no-code apps and AI with guardrails
Enthusiasm for AI isn’t the problem. Research from monday.com and Nielsen, cited by Knight, found that 72% of people work at companies that mandate or strongly encourage AI use, even as the processes around it lag. At HPE, admins pace the rollout by training users first and giving groups separate AI credit allotments, Kenner explained.
“It’s really tough. But you got to give enough allowance for people to be creative and to get their hands wet … But also not let them go wild, wild west on it,” she said.
HPE is also building vibe apps with monday vibe, monday.com’s no-code tool for creating custom applications. Kenner’s first one replaced the chore of pasting charts into slides with an executive dashboard that can still export to PowerPoint for leaders who want a deck.
“It’s a no-code solution that we pair with so many of our boards to build the dashboards we want,” she said. “In our corporate world, I will say everyone loves PowerPoint and it has been very hard to get off PowerPoint.”
The payoff showed up on the calendar. With live project status available anytime, executives cut back their review meetings, while a finalize button archives each month’s numbers as a system of record, according to Kenner.
“They knocked a whole bunch of the meetings off the calendar,” Kenner said. “Instead of weekly, now they’re monthly.”
Those no-code apps now pair with AI agents that take on the grunt work. Each week, an agent Kenner configured pulls attendance for her Monday livestream from Microsoft Corp.’s Teams, maps attendees by organization, region and manager, and flags anyone missing from HR records.
“I basically programmed it and every Monday I just hit run and she’ll go through all of it and she’ll come back with any of the things that may be flagged,” Kenner said.
